Return of the River Rats

Ever since we moved down to Angel Valley it has been hot and dry. Thursday that all changed.

Over a couple hours we got somewhere between 6-8 inches of rain which brought the flash flood to the creek in under an hour.

The next morning and afternoon it all settled back down - and the river rats returned to their swimming hole that had been dry for about a month.

They even swam in the deeper pool.

Amelia felt like she needed to go down to the channel and swim some laps. We are all glad we got water back.
