We've seen all sorts of creatures in the month we have lived here, most notable were the mountain goats that I managed to get a shot of as they fled up the very sheer face of the hill/mountain.

Bugs, bugs, bugs and dragonflies of every color and size (one was huge!) And the first few nights fireflies lit up our yard. And then there are the caterpillars and butterflies. We are practically over ran by them, and they have all been spinning their chrysalis. Most of the butterflies are orange (Monarch we think) but this big yellow one was by the stream the other day.

Snakes!!! this guy is little and harmless, Josh and his shotgun have been taking out the cotton mouth population.
Dead snakes and trapped fish bring the hawks down to yard, it was crazy to watch 5 of them circle and go for a left snake.
Seen but not pictured a heron, humming bird(visits daily), deer, skunk, fox, lots of frogs, lizards, and turtles, non of this even count the exotic animal farm 2 lots down from ours. It is really fun, as long as everything stays outside.
