Wanted to give the kids a close to authentic Memorial Day weekend experience. Took them out to a WWII close combat re-enactment.
Afterwards they got to meet the victors on the battlefield.
and pretend to salute.
The Nazi's were way outnumbered... and some were a little less animate.
It was deafening - we were glad they passed out ear plugs. &
To escape the oppressive heat we ducked into the Military Museum and goofed around with gas masks.
