Amelia Mick's First Paddy Day Parade

Last year we found out that Dallas throws a pretty big St. Patricks day festival. This time we decided we would be prepared - at least wear green (I didnt last year - Melisa did).

You know its going to be a great family parade when the first 5 "floats" consisted of the Clydesdales followed by 4 beer trucks - before the grand marshall even.

Amelia was a little unsure about all the going-on's.

But she had a lot of fun cheering and yelling with all the revelers.

But most of the floats bored her.

Until she finally got to see the star of the parade - the green dog - surprisingly not an irish setter.
