The Chicken Coop

Started backyard farming at our home. First plan was to construct a house for the future chickens. It was a little bit daunting because of the size, but fortunately Jett and Amelia were happy to lend a hand and help out. When we finally finished, we got a dozen chickens to call it home. The kids have a great time looking for eggs, playing with the hens, giving them names like cheetah, Gunnar rock star, pretty stars, chocolate, etc.
