4th of July

Started the 4th of July taking in the Hyrum Utah Freedom days parade - this one was actually better than years prior - less trucks and the kids scored tons of candy.
After the parade - my mom's extended family gathered to celebrate my Grandpa's 90th and their 65th wedding anniversary - a little bit island themed. Still look pretty young for 90.
Melisa got to take photos for the event - here is my mom's entire extended family (minus two). I think that makes 83 or so.
My own extended family - which we reunioned with the rest of the week.
And I thought the children wrangling photo was amusing trying to get the great grandparent picture.
We had a program featuring "talents" from some of the family members - and did some memories of grandparents. Even had my Dad rap over a "rappers delight" and "we are family medley"
It was a pretty big gathering.
Then followed by hanging out and some typical water fights against the little kids. I think I lost.
Capped the night with the Hyrum Fireworks.
