Oatmeal
Another small town celebration. Evidently this one started when the official map of Texas came out and left the small town of Oatmeal off the map (while it didnt have an intersection). The people in the closest town took it on themselves to throw an annual festival called the "Oatmeal Festival" = even got some sponsorship from 3 minute Oats. This is our second year attending ... it definitely is small town. Before the "grand" parade starts a crop duster flies over and dusts the main street in oats.
